from travel planning and booking, expense report preparation, and submission, through manager approval and expense report processing.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Company Experience<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">A recent Peeriosity Peercast<sup>TM<\/sup> featured Peeriosity member company with $8 billion USD in annual revenue, discussing their approach to deploying mobile device capabilities related to their T&amp;E system, Concur.\u00a0 Some of the benefits of this deployment for the T&amp;E organization include the following:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul class=\"font-14\">\r\n<li>Travel Booking &amp; Expense Processing Connected<\/li>\r\n<li>Powerful Reporting<\/li>\r\n<li>Improved Timeliness<\/li>\r\n<li>Streamlined Process<\/li>\r\n<li>E-Receipts<\/li>\r\n<li>Mileage Accuracy<\/li>\r\n<li>Reduced Errors<\/li>\r\n<li>Increased Compliance<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">In addition, for cardholders, some of the benefits include increased productivity, mobility, automated expense documentation, and a simplified expense reporting process.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">An important part of the implementation of mobile device capabilities was the creation of process metrics that not only tracked the number of employees using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/i\/information-management-technology-imt.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mobile technology<\/a> in this manner and their number of logins, but also provide significant detail around twelve different types of travel mobile events, such as booked air, downloaded itineraries, and canceled hotels.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Some of the process efficiencies realized by the company in this area include more timely submission of expense reports, a reduction in follow-up work, card deactivations, and re-work, and improved accuracy and reporting.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Further details regarding our feature company\u2019s experiences in this area, including the complete member presentation and Peercast<sup>TM<\/sup> recording, can be found on the Peeriosity member website.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>iPolling<sup>TM<\/sup> Results Review<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">To support the Peercast<sup>TM<\/sup>, a poll was developed using the iPolling<sup>TM<\/sup> technology.\u00a0 The first poll question looked at the status of offering the capability for employees to submit receipts using their mobile devices, with the vast majority (81%) of the companies have implemented this capability.\u00a0 Another 4% of the companies have approved this approach, while 12% are evaluating doing so and 3% evaluated this option and decided not to proceed.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-4135\" src=\"https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.png\" alt=\"capability of employee to submit receipts using mobile devices\" width=\"577\" height=\"312\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2.png 577w, https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-2-500x270.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 577px) 100vw, 577px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">The next question was similar but looked at the status of offering the capability for employees to submit expense reports using their mobile devices.\u00a0 Again, a large majority (80%) of companies have implemented this option, while 8% have approved doing so.\u00a0 The remaining 12% have not yet evaluated offering this capability to their employees.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"577\" height=\"312\" class=\"wp-image-4136\" src=\"https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3.png 577w, https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3-300x162.png 300w, https:\/\/www.peeriosity.com\/shared-services\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/09\/image-3-500x270.png 500w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 577px) 100vw, 577px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Below are several of the comments added by members to the iPolling<sup>TM<\/sup> questions:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Real Estate &amp; Construction Member:<\/strong> This has been widely embraced by field employees.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech Member:<\/strong>\u00a0 Various phases of implementation globally, but digital copies of receipts and the ability to submit expenses via mobile devices are implemented via Concur.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Manufacturing Member:<\/strong> This is in place and being utilized extensively.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech Member:<\/strong>\u00a0 This ability is in place and being utilized.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Energy &amp; Utilities Member:<\/strong> Project is underway to offer these capabilities to our 6,000+ expense filers. Implementation is slated for Q4.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p style=\"font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Biotech Member:<\/strong> We&#8217;ve implemented the ability to submit and approve expense reports in all markets.
